Privacy notice
Last updated August 12, 2026. MySalon helps salons manage websites, bookings, client records, reminders, and payments. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to salon owners and their clients.
Information we collect
Account details, salon profile and service information, booking details, client contact information, notes and forms entered by a salon, operational audit events, and technical information needed to secure the service. Stripe receives payment details directly during checkout; MySalon does not store full card numbers.
How we use it
We use information to provide the workspace, publish salon pages, schedule appointments, send requested transactional messages, process MySalon subscription payments, prevent abuse, troubleshoot incidents, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Salon service payments are not offered at launch. Marketing messages are sent only where the salon has the required consent and can be unsubscribed from.
Service providers
MySalon uses Supabase for authentication, database and storage; Vercel for hosting; Stripe for subscription and payment processing; and Resend for transactional email. These providers process information only to provide their services and may process it in jurisdictions outside Canada.
Retention, access, and deletion
Salons control the business records they enter and can use the workspace export, correction, retention, and account-closure tools. Clients may ask the salon that collected their information for access or correction. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@mysalon.hair.
Safeguards and responsibility
We use authenticated access, tenant-scoped permissions, row-level security, signed links, audit events, rate limits, and hosted payment fields. Salons remain responsible for collecting information lawfully, limiting access for their staff, and avoiding unnecessary highly sensitive health or financial details in free-text notes.
Questions or complaints
Contact the privacy lead at privacy@mysalon.hair. We will review and respond to requests in a reasonable timeframe. This notice describes the product implementation and should be reviewed with counsel for the jurisdictions where a salon operates.
